Default how loud are N/A thermal catbacks?

I know everybody says they are quiet at idle and what not. I'm debating whether to get one but I can't afford the attention from the cops. Also, dont wanna go death on 8 hour journeys to niagara

Does anybody have a video or sound clip of their car, or anybodys car for that matter with a thermal catback on it?

Thanks

It's not that loud at all. I have one on my b16 crx and I've gone on quite a few 6+ hr drives with it, and I am getting ready to drive it cross country on Sunday

BTW, this a car with no carpet or sound deadening

Its probably the only manufacturer I'd consider. IMO

My friend with a 90 hatch w/b16 and thermal catback received a loud exhaust violation last week here in Detroit. This area is usually pretty lenient on stuff like that too being "The Motor City" but, maybe the cop was just picking on him because he has a loud Honda. Personally, I didn't think it was that loud but who knows......................

I chose the greddy over the thermal for some reason . I never heard either one. I will know how that sounds soon

My thermal on my otherwise bone stock '91 Si sounded awesome.

I don't see how it's possible to get a noise violation with it; it's not loud...it just sounds good!

Holy Crap was it loud. My Thermal kept every body staring. I got many questions like "Is that your little car making all that noise" and (my fav.) "Is that a V8?" It was a awsome sound. Deep, loud, throaty as hell. I miss my Termal exhaust.

Did you have an exhaust leak or something?

Seriously....reading your description and listening to mine, I wouldn't think we even have the same exhaust because my car wasn't loud at all. You could hear it at WOT, but at partial-load it was a very mellow, pleasant sound.

Are there two different N/A applications by Thermal for the EF?
