I'm looking into getting one since the stock lip has taken a beating from 4 years of driving.

its not a type R but i thought you might wanna see what it looks like. got it off a buddy who was selling his car. only place ive seen it for sale is il4 or another website that i forgot the name of.

 

I believe http://www.seibon.com has what you are looking for, but no installed pics.

 

I might put one of those on just to save the wear and tare on mine..

I feel what you're saying. After one week of owning my '97 I cracked the **** out of it (the lip) pulling out of a steep driveway one New Year's Eve (read: toasted & stupid). I can't make myself spend $350 on a new one. I like the Comptech carbon though. I'm just concerned about fitment.

It's also not very heavy and not load-bearing, so I can't really think of a reason to manufacture one out of carbon fiber.

 

Because you can sell one for $300 as long as they sell for $400 new...
And any one can build a vacume mold set up..

Bling factor? Might last longer? Its not load bearing until you leave the track

id prob be in if the price was ghood enuff

 

Not to mention you scuff it , just sand a bit of the clear gel off the out side and good as new.. I have seen a few that sell for $150-250 that i thought would be a nice set up..

 

If anyone's interested, I'm trying to get rid of my 94- 97 CF lip.
