Default Post your VTEC engagement RPM if you are using skunk2 cams.

If you could i just want a starting point at what to set my vtec. I have 10.0:1 compression and skunk2 stage 2 cams. I was thinking to set vtec at like 5,700rpm.. post your compression and vtec crossover points if you are using the skunk2 stage 2 cams. please

you won't make as much power with those cams if you only have 10:1 compression, just fyi

i though the skunk2 program had the vtec engage around 5200rpm, i could be wrong.

I am using Skunk2 Stage1s (I know this is not exactly what you asked for) and my VTEC engagement is around 6,000. Compression is a little above 10.6:1. And like someone else said, your compression is too low to make good use of those cams. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if you saw the same, if not better, output from a set of stage1s instead of stage2s...

What Intake Manifold? Was the head ported...? I think the power peaks around 8800 on my motor w\ Jun 3s (Same ****). I gotta go look at my dyno chart.

I just got off the dyno with Skunk2 Stage 2s ina B16...stock Intake Mani\TB.

VTEC @ 5900 was the best graph on this setup...I normally set it between 5800-6200. That primary lobe carries power very nicely for idling so well. I'm going to overlay the graph with a B16 w\ Toda Bs when I get around to it.

skunk mani on a stock head. I would get weird dips and dives when i'd set the vtec higher or lower. Cant wait to see your **** out there tearing asses apart!HOLLA!

Stage 1's at 5800rpm w/stock 98spec jdm ITR ecu, jdm b18c-R. There is no rev limit cause I have accidently reved up to 9500K quite a few times. It just keeps going..and going.. although I don't think stage 1 make power that high... at 8500-8800k the most with tuning although I rarely will rev past 8K.
