Q's on Throttle Body's???
Hey guys, does any Throttle body from a D-series engine bolt on? I'm talking about a 2nd gen CRX Si Throttle body on a Sohc Vtec intake manifold. Will this still work??? Thanks for the help guys.
The 88-91 and 92+ Civic intake/TB have a different bolt pattern.
You can use the Z6 intake/TB on the A6 but will have to reroute the map wiring.

the z6 throttle body has the fast-idle control mounted on the throttle body, whereas the crx has it moutned on the intake manifold, so no it will not work.
for 92+ cars, b-series TBs bolt up...just get a 92+ LS/RS/GSR/ITR/CTR/B20B throttle body over 4mm is gained....as well as h-series, H22a/H23a, and probably some C series as well....
on the 88-91 d-series models a b16a TB (1st gen) can be done with some redrilling...my buddy did this on his ZC...not much off...get a gasket and compare, you can take it to a shop for $10-20 they will redrill it properly...
