i heard this can be done.. is it just wiring the vafc wire (pink wire) directly to the vtec solenoid?

The P06 can be converted to VTEC with a few components. There are people on Honda-Tech who can do this for a small price if you want.

If someone sold you this ECU as a VTEC unit, then that is fraud, unless you are willing to pony up the $$ to get in converted for the buyer.

V-AFC's bypass the ECU's control of VTEC, so yeah you could get it to work... it would be about as performance as a donut spare due to the P06 mappings, but it would work.

I'd be happy to drop all the electronic parts needed for a VTEC conversion on that P06 into an envelope and mail them to you, if you want to learn to chip/solder and will buy your own $50 chip burner... if you give these guys a refund first. (I hope that's a joke)
