(56k no) for once i used my money on something else
for the longest time all i ever pointed my camera at was cars. now this is all well and good but i mean we all this isn't all that life is. I finally devoted a chunk of money of mine (borrowed money in this case) to go do something non car related and it was pretty damn awesome.
i went to europe these past couple weeks to go visit my gf studying abroad in florence and got some pretty nice pics. she sorta got pissed at me for taking so many pics like a japanese tourist but hey, i'm only there once damnit hehe. anyways here's some pics. I ended up going to
Italy: Chinque Terra, Florence, Milan, Rome, Venice

(before anyone asks, pace and that flag represent peace in europe not homosexuality, plus this was a communist parade, go figure)

Switzerland: Bern, Interloken

France: Paris

England: London

I got a total of 350 shots the whole time so these are just a couple shots but overall I think stuff came out pretty good. I'm glad I went there instead of just one more mod on my car. Now to pay off my debts

i would have done the same.
there comes a time in everyone's life when modding your car gets old. there are other things to do with your money.
i had a blast when i was in Prague for the summer of 98. i studied abroad there for 2 months. then traveled to Innsbruck Austria and got to head over to London. very memorable trip and would not trade it for anything.
italy is a place i would love to visit.
great pics man. glad you enjoyed your trip!

lol god i feel like dumbass, any art history people wanna chime in, i haven't taken it since my freshman year and wasn't paying attention during the tour, i just recognized it from my class and snapped a shot.
anyways, yea the trip was pretty cool. Italy in general was awesome and a great place to visit. Switzerland was probably close to my favorite becuase of the design scene there and how clean everything was and the obscene about of tyte *** cars there...i'm talking beemers, ferrari's, type r's, special edition cars of every kind.
france lived up to every stereotype unfortunately. people were rude and in public transportation didn't exactly smell like roses. just had a bad general time there.
london once again is great and a place i'd live if i didn't live in the states. culture there is great, museums all over the place including this design museum which i could've spent days in and clubs, bars, theatres, you name it.

Nice...Europe is wonderful. Everyone should go at least once. My wife and I went to Spain last July for our honeymoon. Her mom is from Spain, so alot of her family is there (Saville). We went to Saville, Madrid, Pamplona (during the Running of the bulls)(and no I didn't run), & Toledo.

It's totally a different world in Europe, I have relatives in France and yes it does suck I do not recommend it, Ive been there about 7 times and each time I missed SoCal more and more. Italy on the other hand is mind blowing.
