i love redline gear oil, used it on all my Zcars and it's in my rex now as well.

I am litterally puttin new trans fluid in tomorrow. I am using Honda MTF, I will let you know if there are any differences from what im assuming is 10w30 oil from the previous owner.
1.9QUarts yeah i drained it and i was like thats not very much i never drained it before i thought it was low but must be right

use Honda MTF if you have no problems with your tranny grinding. If it does do one quart MTF and other gm syncromesh friction modified Part #12377916 if they still cant find it tell them its for the 1500 series gmc trannies then they will know. They usually cant find it and its hidden in some back corner under a lot of crap. Oh and its anywhere from $12-$14 a quart. Make sure its the friction modified one, it comes in a regular like quart of oil bottle the other comes in a round bottle.
