Default Newbie at turbo question

sorri before hand but everybody gotta to start somewhere with a newbie question...anywayz...i was wondering is it safe to run the greddy turbo kit on a stock gsr...will it blow out my motor?...and also...it's time for a clutch change....with a act heavy pp and disc with a prolite flywheel hold up to the greddy kit?

yes its okay for stock gsr. no it will not blow your motor given the fact that is tuned properly. yes i would recommend changing clutch(althought i guess you could use your stock clutch until it burns out from too much power). flywheel IMO is not necessary.

make sure you just get it tuned properly and you will be happy.

go to the forced induction ....
use a search...
greddy is ok but i would go with aem for that or hondata

you would get better answers and more xdetails in the FI forum.. so try there as well... but i dont think the greddy kit will blow the motor... no kit will if ur smart and tune it right... i sugest u learn more about turbos and such b4 u go turbo

6-7 psi should be safe.

with a greddy kit, boosting will be a piece of cake for your motor. you cant boost as much with the small snail the greddy includes. if you get a bigger and badder kit, such as a DRAG3 or REVHARD, then you would need to think about upgrading internals or go with better fuel management if you want to run more boost.
