Default Any ideas for getting an ac into a car?

Does anybody know of any kind of "drop-in" ac units for cars without factory ac? Or anything like that?

Basically I had to take out ac because of my full-race manifold, but still want AC. So I was thinking of putting a small home ac system in the engine bay and routing the air into the cabin. If there's a better solution, please let me know!

Go talk to your local auto AC shop. They may be able to sell you a smaller compressor and custom make lines that will fit. Be prepared to also make a custom bracket or pay a lot for it.

IMHO, I would just go with an AC compatible manifold unless you have a friend who does auto AC work.
