I got a small chip on my hatch in the corner and it began to rust. Would this be covered under the no rust warranty?

 

if you paid extra for their lifetime no rust warranty...than yes

Buy some primer, touch-up paint, clearcoat, and sandpaper. Problem solved...

well if it's rusting because you had a rock chip, there's no way that's going to be covered. that's like if u ran behind a gravel truck and then try to claim that your hood isn't strong enough

just get some touch up paint

Actually Acura has a warranty verse chips....I got it....It's some type of coating they add on......Supposedly it's suppose to make the paint stronger....

 

you don't mean the protection package do u? cause i think that's a load of bull. they're supposed to rustproof yer car but all cars come factory with rustproofing. that's what i hear anyway

 

It should be covered but it depends on the dealer.

 

I believe the rust coverage is for Rust going completely through the panel.
Surface rust on a rock chip wouldn't be covered.
