Need some information on a P07 delsol auto ECU?
Could this ecu be chipped?
(it has a rom socket and a 74H... socket and a J1 and a CN2)
Can it be converted from auto to manual? (I know a resister has to moved)
If so , what things would i have to solder in and out to make it work?
I know most peole say it could not be chipped when i searched the board but some replys on the posts say it could be chipped.
The reason why i ask is i have couple p07s setting in my room and wanted to know if they are useful for hondata or uberdata or just a chip.
I already know of this website:

WRONG! That was my old ECU from my del sol si before i changed it from auto to manual. Do some research before you post bud...

If Im so wrong then hondata must be wrong too, right? http://www.hondata.com/techecuid.html
Your delsol Si must have had a VTEC-E engine in it then right? Last I checked your delsol Si would have had a p28 ECU and you can chip those all day long from auto to manual.
Here is a break down for your delsol model's
DelSol S = d15 engine (SOHC NON-VTEC 1.5l) with PO5 ecu
DelSol Si = d16z engine(SOHC VTEC 1.6l) With P28 ECU
DelSol VTEC = B16A engine (DOHC VTEC 1.6l) with P30 ECU
Is that enough research for you? a po7 ecu uses a 5 wire O2 sensor as well but I guess your delsol had one of those too right? before you start to put some one down for trying to help another person out , do some research.

Thanks Homer
Katman, your the one that took the picture can you put some insight on this for us please.

yeah, that specific type of P07 ecu isn't too chipper friendly. I've tried reprogramming them in the past, but they run like ***. However, there are peeps on the pgmfi phorum that were more successful than I in making this version of the P07 work on a reprogrammed chip.
And just some FYI...
There are 2 types of P07 ecu's. One is the not-so-chipper-friendly type shown above with the board number of "02D01560-1500".
The other type of P07 ecu is a bit rare, but is EXACTLY like a P28's board layout, with either one of these numbers:
"02D011F0-1500"
or
"02D01720-1500"
..this slightly rare P07 can be reprogrammed in the same exact manor as a P28 ecu.
HTH...
