Paint chipping from Sidemarker install?
to any of you guys that installed your own sidemarkers... did the paint start to roll back? or did it cut clean when you cut through the metal?
My paint chipped a bit but I made sure to fill it in and cover all the bare metal from the cuts with touch up paint. The sidemarker should cover up any little chips anyway.
a good tip: after you install the side marker (even if paint didn't chip) use either a little clear coat on a touch up brush or even steal some clear nail polish and paint over it overlapping the marer and fender a little. itll block water and rust from building up

You guys should tape the area off with masking tape that is being cut if you did not. As well make sure the drill and dremel bit are top notch and sharp. The paint should not flake or peel and the touch up is absoulutely nessecary.
