my boy just did a gsr swap into a 1994 ex coupe but i was told that i would have to wire the knock sensor and the butterflies for the vtec i drove then car and the car moves lovely up top but taking off the car cuts back it seems like the ecu is in limp mode can anyone help

 

if its running in limp mode the car will not engage in vtec and the rev limit will kick in before 8 grand. do you have a check engine light? if so what codes?

 

If the butterflies arent wired up then it will feel like crap and the knock sensor will put it into limp mode which will disable vtec. Finish the wiring.

 

yea it does kick back and it does have a engine light but i dont know the code but sometimes it is ok

 

there is a 2 wire harness on the passenger side by the batter that is not wired to anything can some one show a pic or give me a idea where it goes

 

connect the two jumper wires first to see what codes you're throwing. if your knock sensor is not hooked up most likely thats one of the codes you may be popping.

 

the 2 jumpers by the ecu i will do that and give a update but i noticed that the car runs fine somethime but then sometime is goes into limp mode what would cause that
