Default Fuel Pump Issues with a STD hatch back Motor swap RRRRRRRR

I have a std 4 speed with an CTR swap.

When I gas it the car hesitates badly like its running out off fuel

all his **** started happening after I Installed the aem fuel pressure regulator and fuel rail I have set it too 44psi on the fuel rail.

umm what can be fuel pump on the std is fucked?

it didnt used to do this **** before..

no check engine lights soo no problem with the car.

it runs fine but when u get on it has trouble with fuel

with the engine idling the fuel pressure should be around 28-32 psi. not 44!

then @ WOT (can be simulater by removing vac line from FPR) fuel pressure should be 38-40psi

pretty obvious situation if you ask me. it is what it seems to be. put a walbro 255 in there, you should have put one in there from the start.

I ran a type R engine with my standard fuel pump last season...ran fine.

upgraded to a Walbro 255 for this season.

umm did u have a fpr and fuel rail installed on the old fuel pump??

cause stock I am sure its fine but when u get the fpr and fuel rail thats when it happens..

My B&M guage reads 38 PSI at idle. I have a stock B16 FPR, just in case you're curious. I bet that crappy STD fuel pump is about to take a dump. Try upgrading it to a 190 lph.

I think soo it takes forever to start also I am gussing its the fuel pump also

28-32 is only for a d16 not a b series

yups.

bseries is 47-54psi

thats a lot off psi for a fucken 2injector car
