ADVISORY: K&N Filter Recharger Kit.
Cleaned my AEM filter today per directions on an unopened brand new K&N Filter Recharger Kit. Let filter air dry naturally per directions. About to reoil filter with brand new can. Press spray button. WTF! Proceed to puncture can with hammer and screwdriver. Find a suitable replacement spray bottle, in this case a near empty bottle of Victoria Secret Pair Glace Body Spray. Get red-dyed oil all over hands while transferring oil and reoiling filter element. Just some words of advice. Make sure the reoiling can has aerosol in it before you leave the store.
I "imported" this kit from San Diego, purchaced at H Street Autozone in Chula Vista, back to Guam because I don't know of anywhere locally that sells this. There was no aerosol whatsoever. I had to reoil my filter somehow, hence hammer + screwdriver.

You my son are a toolowsol. Pumps come in plastic bottle, aerosols come in a metal can. If you would read my post and not be "retarded" you woulda figured that out.

If memory serves, there are two spray cans in the recharger kit. One, the aerosol can, is the cleaner. The other, the pump spray, is the filter oil. I may have them mixed up, but I definitely remember one being an aerosol can.

Actually you sir are a tool too. I did not make this thread to complain. The title didn't say K&N Filter Cleaner Kit suck, **** K&N, my aerosol oil can had no aerosol. No this thread is an "ADVISORY" thread. If you can read, then you would realize that this kit is not easy for me to come by. Furthermore, driving on an unoiled filter is bad. /yourself

Actually, mine is just the opposite. I did it this weekend with a kit that I had bought about a year or two ago at Parts America. The cleaner is in a pump, and the oil is aerosol.
It's sucks that way, because the cleaner gets all over the bottle and hands, making it tough to pump it out; and the aerosol oil always sprays too much onto the filter.
