They are great. They don't fog up and water doesn't go in.
I have a NEW set of 96-98 black housing headlights from JDMshit.com. They have are mint except a little scatches on left headlight but its unnoticable. Willing to sell $100 bucks shipped.

Are the real deals technically legal in the US? My stock headlights have a DOT number on them. I believe most knockoffs have DOT numbers on them, but doubt that real CTR ones have a DOT number. With that being said, do headlights technically need DOT numbers on them to be legal?

Yes, but they still arent legal. Because, in America cars need amber reflectors in the headlight. So if you get CTR headlights, you need to get amber sidemarkers on your fenders, or else you could get pulled over.

I just got the jdmsh*t headlights in today. There are awesome! They look so good. The fit is good too, better than expected. The quality is a little lower than Honda headlights, which is expected, but I am pleased.
Also, there are NO sockets for city lights. Maybe the 99-00 ones have this option.
I used Sylvania Silverstars for the bulbs and they look great. Does anyone know where I can get some amber bulbs for my parking/blinker lights??
