SPARCO Evo Seat Install Dilemma!
I get all this (1)Base Adapter (2) Side Mount (3) Seat Track Set (4) Base. And the pictures below are what I receive. From what I can see there is no way in hell this stuff bolts up. Maybe the people who installed this before can help me out. I am fully aware that drilling may be involved....but how the hell do you install this ****! OH by the way this is going in an 1988 Honda Civic STD Hatch

well i go to the sparco website and the base is completely different from the diagram. i've been arranging the bars and they still won't line up anywhere. the base won't fit anywhere....i'm trying to imagine where to drill the holes, but the base can't mount level anywhere. does anybody know the wedge engineering website or phone number
looks like your missing the seat
no really....they go on as u have them shown. base rails onto floor of car, then the side mounts bolt to that and the seat, but before u bolt that to the seat(by the side parts), the sliders go on. and u will def have to make the front part of the seat higher then the rear, if not then the front lip of the seat will hit. make sure u assb. out of the car.
pm if u need any more help.

looking at those pics gets me stressed out
Sparco makes the worst **** as far as mounting hardware goes.
If you install that seat in your car using all that hardware the seat ends up being WAY to high off the floor.
Use the stock sliders flipped around with the slider with the lever put on the left side(bend the lever the opposite way now) & with steel or thick aluminimum L channels for brackets and space the sliders out so you can drop the seat inbetween the sliders not so it sits on top of the sliders or brackets.
Plus those sparco side mounts don't work that good on ANY slider as just the way they are shaped you cannot drop the seat low enough unless you mount them to the floor directly.
Also when you're done you have to see if you sit higher than your stock seat as I've sat in so many race seats that were put in without any thought and if you sit higher then the stock seat the whole feel of the car is different so just put some thought into the install.
Whats funny to is people want a light weight race seat and with all those brackets your seat will end up being as heavy as a stock seat.
sorry I just had to add that
edit: if your just putting this in for looks then put it in however you want to

figured out how the puzzle goes together, but once i test fitted the base to tub of the chassis. the entire base has no where to mount! i was completely aware that drilling had to occur, but the base doesn't even sit flush for mounting. hrm?! do they put any R&D into their products. sparco subcontracts out to wedge engineering for their bases so i need to call those guys. and yes, the base is extremely heavy for what it is. comparing it to the stock slider mounts these things are anchors....which is what they probably serve as...a solid piece of metal so the seats don't rip out. frustrated urghhh
You have to mount the stock sliders to the Sparco Base adapter. Then that mounts to the side mounts which then mounts to the seat.

i tried that maybe i did something, but i'll try that again...and another thing is that the stock sliders aren't level either. i bolted just the sliders onto the chassis without the seat and it wasn't level. i'll try that when i get home. but looking at the pictures better it looks it should work without a hitch....THANKS A BILLION!
yeah printed all those images for reference...i think it'll work fine...thanks man! it really helped me out. I will probably make a post so that people can see what's involved in prepping an autox SM car....well to my taste. i think i have to retap one of the holes.....everything is so old it's just falling apart.

I'm guessing here, but since the bolt head is 12mm, I think the bolt is an 8mm bolt (M8 maybe? I forget that stuff). The thread pitch is probably 1mm since its a pretty fine pitch.
