Default ek type r time slips

i dont have a scanner, so i just type the times. The usdm itrmotor is stock ,except for the I/H/E and 20/8/13 mh slicks, the only problem i had was that my e-brake was broke,so no good burn-outs were taken. and no tach nor shift light. i need to know what im doing wrong. advice please!!
this my first time slip:

My time---------------------------Other guy

RT -.013 ------------- R/T +.384
60ft 2.172 ------------- 60ft 2.513
1/8 9.140 ------------- 1/8 10.135
mph 78.12 ------------- mph 71.54

my second slip:

My time------------------------My friend's time

R/T +.265 ------------ R/T +.000 (perfect reaction of the night)
60ft 2.103 ------------ 60ft 2.453
1/8 8.943 ------------ 1/8 10.179
mph 78.91 ------------ "no mph info"

you need to get better 60ft's which is probably attained by launchin from a higher rpm. Also, a tach is essential. When do you know when to shift?? You can def. get some better times imo!

I was launching from 7500 to 8000rpmwith 22x8x13 MH slicks.my 60ft sucked because i couldnt do a proper burnout because of my ebrake not working.my best was my second run which was 8.9 with a shitty 2.160ft.I already purchased a tach,so thats taken care off,and the ebrake is finally fixed.anybody have anymore advice.this was only my third time at the track and first time with slicks.

launch higher, fix the e-brake and get the tires hot, switch to 22/8/13 slicks and get a tach.
