Im on HR race springs, with Koni Yellows

hard to say from that big *** picture (resize) maybe at least 2-3 degree's negative? Best thing to do is get a wheel alignment to get some specs
I hate to tell everybody, but negative camber is not that bad i've been on the same set of nitto nt450's for 3 years now and still enough life left for another. If you are worried about tire wear than alignment is the worst culprit. just get it aligned after the install and make sure the camber is equal on both sides.
and yes, my camber is even worse than the pic

Camber is an alignment angle. You really just need to have the toe put back into spec. Negative camber won't chew up your tires nearly as fast as out of spec toe. Caster doesn't wear tires, so no need to worry about that(as far as tire wear). You could buy a camber kit and have the tires last slightly longer, but it's your money.

He's right. And a bit of negative camber will improve cornering grip as well.

cool, just wanted to double check because last time i went to the alignment place the guy wouldnt do it since he said the camber was too bad.
So what i did was changed the position on the camber kit and it moved out a bit...
it looks better but hopefully he can do it now
Thanks guys

I don't know why I always read that camber will not eat up your tires.
Granted, it won't eat up your tires like toe or whatever, but it still does eat up your tires!
This is coming from a daily driving standpoint...I probably about 50 miles a day, mostly highway.
Even after an alignment, the inside of the tires ALWAYS hits metal before the outside of the tire does.....and it's attributed to bad camber.
Don't tell me that if I got an alignment it wouldn't do that, because I always have alignments done by the best shop in town.
I guess it may be different if you track your car and use the other pressure angles on your tires; it may even it out a bit.

you gotta be kidding if you say negative camber doesn't wear off your tires faster. My brand new sets of tire were worn off in only 3 months, this includes rotating tires every oil change.
Hmm, maybe I just need to calm down when driving. I've had my car 4-5 years and have burned cheapo's on steelies, replaced w/cheapos, burned them too, went thru a set of sumitomo's on some other 13's, and now am on some azenis on my 14's
4th set of tires in 4-5 years and azenis prolly won't make it thru the summer. i'm a
for buying them, but they are sticky as mess in this heat.

Of course camber wears tires. The only alignment angle that doesn't is caster. But, what we are trying to tell you guys is that camber doesn't wear tires AS FAST as toe. People tend to make a bigger fuss over camber than they should. Unless you have an extreme amount of negative camber, you aren't going to wear your tires that fast if your toe is in spec.
You have to keep in mind that not all tires wear the same. Some of you saying camber wears your tires fast could be running tires that wear quickly.
Those of us that don't put alot of miles on our cars don't need to worry about camber as much as ppl that have a huge commute everyday. My Civic has heaps of -camber, but I don't care to adjust it because it doesn't get driven that much. Buying 15" tires every once in a while will end up being cheaper than a camber kit plus an alignment everytime I change my ride height. That's just my situation....the oposite is true for other ppl.

thats my question too.
i just recently got engalls camber kit for my red. My car is dropped no more than 2", absolute max, and i had some nasty tire wear. Tore the **** out of one side and the other was fine. I'd say my camber was about the same as what you got there. I'd reccemend fixing it. My engalls ran me 157.32. I think it was well spent.
My camber was actually rubbing against the control arm aswell it was so bad, and that too was tearing my tires. Went threw 2 tires in a month.

that will wear out ur tires but improves cornering and it can wear ur tires faster than ur toe. also if you desire to raise ur car back up ur tires will be so uneven that it probably make u pull. ur call

It depends who you go to MOST of the bigger chain shops won't do alignments on lowered cars because the purpose of their alignments is to provide long lasting tires. So even though they could put it on the rack and correct your toe they won't as they don't want you coming back and saying your tires wore out or whatever.
Your camber looks nice
....now go check your toe.

OK got my alignment today. The guy said he couldnt get my toe perfect because the camber was still present..... what a dick.... what do you guys think?
i think the alignment guy is retarted. this is why i align my own car. toe and camber are seperate adjustments. i have about -3deg and i can get zero toe. i would go somewhere else. maybe a race shop that does custom alignment on race cars. they will be able to get whatever specs you want.

Yeah he is retarded.. but He was the closest guy i could find....
Ill just wait till i need new tires until i get another alignment.
Thanks
