My friend bought this crx with a zc in it.It was 600 bucks.The engine he took out and the car is the worst crx i have ever seen.So much damage.But there is no frame damage.Im wondering if its worth fixing up.He offered it free too me.It needs, new fenders,hood,bumper,full headlights,windshield,doors,tailights,engine.I figure i can do a jdm front conversion.Its gonna need some good amount of grinding too get rust off,then i plan too weld in sheet metal and make it look like new through sanding and body filler/fiberglass.Think its worth fixing up?I mean its free but needs a ton of work.Im leaving alot out.Interior is gone as well too.

 

Thats a toughy, If your willing to do the work by all means go at it! Other wise I would spend the money that i would use to fix it up and buy one that was already in nice condition............if you can find one that is

 

if you have the time, space and means go for it. If not don't waste your time on a basket case

 

well i have done alot of body work on my old crx.So i would be pretty good at it.But for the amount of money of buying back parts just too get it with interior,etc.I could buy a shell for 500 or so.I dont know,its debateable.I mean its free.So i dont know

 

I have took on projects like this and am doing one right now but it is only a deal when you can do all the work yourself and you already have all the parts in your garage.

Yes i know how too do everything.I took out the whole valvetrain today from the zc.He is going too be parting out what he can.Then he said i can have it.It is basically gonna be a shell.I mean it,just a shell.It will have its suspencion and brakes.No interior.Anyone know where i can get the jdm front end?Also i live in CT.If someone else wants it ill let him know.Im still not sure if i wanna take another crx project

one thing i remember now.I will be needing 2 new doors.I will not have door locks from the old car.So what can i do too get the car too lock?Should i just bring the door lock down too a place that makes keys and have them make one for me?
