FS link: Mugen 26mm sway and Mugen gen2 front strut bar

I'm:
1. preparing to go back to school full time. somehow.
2. cutting my track time almost entirely to save $$
3. liquidating my car assets, especially those that are going to serve no purpose on a street car, IMO.
4. Maybe selling the car after its fixed up, but that is a pretty far off possibility right now. But for the first time, I'm considering it.
I've decided it is time to stop feeding this very expensive hobby while I am underpaid in my IT job with little/no hope of advancement, and without that degree that would help this situation very much. I can always pick it up later on when I've got my degree(s), career, and some money to play with.
I'd also consider selling the RM-01A and maybe the JDM ITR header (but NOT my mugen intake, haahaha), but it would have to be a very attractive offer for me to sell the exaust. I just no longer see how all this crap is going to help me get a better job or finish school any sooner. I'd rather pay off all debt and move forward. Funny how I recently spent so much time finding a loan to buy out the lease and now I've done a total 180....
Sorry for the rant, but maybe some others of you are in the same position and might like to hear my thoughts. I spent a ton of time thinking about this and got some good advice from friends - maybe this can serve as some kind of advice to someone out there.... who knows.

Good luck with school, Chris.
It may suck right now, but I think you're making a wise decision. Like we talked about on the phone the other day; work hard now, play hard later
More education = more $$$ = more fun when you're a little older
Oh, and sorry, but I already have the items you have listed for sale

Thanks for the help the other day. I think my trip to CA was perfect timing. I had a chance to think very clearly finally. That and open up pandora's box with good old you know who in Santa Barbara.
Don't worry - you know I'm not going anywhere.

Mark - Doesn't have to be super ASAP - but soon I'd like to get going on this.
I got an influx of IMs just as I posted the classified ad - I may have a buyer for the Mugen sway - but nothing definite... yet.

The only reason I ask is because my car is still out getting the cage and some other safety stuff done, so I can't exactly go pull the sway bar off right now.. and I'm not sure how long it'll be before it's back (few weeks?).. so yeah.. I guess let me know..

After all that work to get the Fuji back...wow. I was unware of this part. I'm sure someone on here will be willing to trade for a stock setup w/some cash. Of course, a local would make things a bit easier.

IM'd ya.
My brother is going back for his masters after graduating and out in the IT field for over a year with pretty poor prospects.
Best of luck.

Join the club bro, glad you're going back to school.
Now prepare to spend the next couple years focusing on homework

Good choice. I'm on the other end of the spectrum from many on this board - I waited until I was out of school, house was purchased, family started and career in high-gear before getting too serious about this hobby of ours...
You will be glad you did. You will have more fun with your car after the things I mentioned above are taken care of...

If you're willing to change your mind about that one, you may have a potential buyer
Good luck, and good to see you're straightening your priorities out

Who's the potential buyer, you?
I remember long ago Mugen Mike told me I had to sell to him - I wonder what he'd do if I actually did put it up for sale
Chris - thinking about it, kinda.

I highly recommend that you finish school. The IT field is swamped right now. I'm hiring MCSE's with 4yr degrees for $34-$36k all day long. These positions payed over $50k to start 5 years ago. The guys with a lot of experience still cost $$$. Good luck! Get your degree and get as much experience as you can if you are going to stay in IT.
