just get the Greddy one - it works great. I am using it with Greddy Oil pressure and Temp gauges. Mine cost $68.46 shipped from Importparts.com:

My old JDM ITR motor came with a Lamco one that looked similar to the Greddy one but it had only 2 ports instead of one. Lamco is used as an OEM for the boost gauge on the WRX.

Don't forget if you get the US made gauges its not going to fit onto the GReddy adapter as the threads are different. You would have to use a jap made gauge and its $$$ as you all know

will a 1/8 BSPT to 1/8 NPT adapter for an Autometer temp sender on the Greddy adapter work?

Looks like the Greddy unit would only direct a small portion of oil to a cooler, not good enough IMO. For the gauges, use the hole in the block where the stock oil pressure goes, just use some tee's. Make sure not to hang any fittings off the block, use hose to locate them onto the fire wall for example. Then use permacool part #116 to relocate the oil filter and make your own custom cooler setup.

Greddy adapter is much simpler that T'ing into the block and messing with the stock sending unit - that's why I purchased it. Obviously there are like 100 ways to do this, but I wanted the safest, simplest solution.

The Greddy adapter comes with plugs for all of the ports, so you can use as many of them as you like. I only needed to mount the temp and pressure sending units, so I left the other port open. Maybe I'll use it for a line to a turbo some day...

There is very high pressure in this location, so it probably would flow enough oil for a cooler IMO. Actually Greddy's oil cooler kit comes with this exact piece.

I'm pretty sure the greddy threads are standard - ie 1/8 npt. You can contact Greddy customer service to be sure...
