hey guys i am getting a deal from a friend that has an ef as well. he has these old school ST sway bars. first they are blue and the bars that i see today are grey looking.

but my real question to u guys is the blue rear sway bar has one hole in it and i was told they this type of bar is adjustable at the end links ?

is this true?

is this better than the set up of the new bar with the 3 adjustment holes on the end of the bar?

i don't think it would be better but will my ef handle just as well as a ST sway bar with the 3 hole design?

and with the end links would it be easy to bend them.
i have had friends that track their car and they have bent the end links b4.

 

With the old one you probally have to adjust the endling hieght, PITA if you can get a good deal on it i would ****** it but if not the new rear one is like 135 bucks

 

well, in order to have the swaybar work correctly it is supposed to sit level. which means having adjustable endlinks and making use of them.

if the bar only has one hole in it its not adjustable.

as for the endlinks, after2 years of autocross every weekend, nyc driving, daily driving and a few track days, i finally broke one of my endlinks. nothing a quick call to pegasus racing couldnt fix.
