When I start up the engine, it revs up a bit over 3k RPM, bounces up and down from 1,500-3,000 RPM and slowly goes away when engine is fully warm. Can anyone help? TIA
what engine do you have? some engines have the throttle body that has a valve underneath it. it has a cover with to small bolts holding it on. take the cover off and you will see a brass nipple with a plastic ring. if the plastic ring has unscrewed itself then just screw it back in and put the plate back on and it will take care of your problem.

I'm running a B20vtec with a GSR TB. Funny you mentioned the TB lower half, b/c I opened that piece trying to fix the vacuum leak. I opened it up and cleaned everything inside with carb cleaner. I found the vacuum leak, but may have make another one in atempt to fix the first one.
