replaced intake manifold and gaskets, now burning coolant. help please!
today i replaced my intake manifold and installed the thermoblok intake manifold gasket set from outlaw engineering. the car is running fine, however it is belching out TONS of white smoke now. the longblock is brand new, with running hardware froma 93 b17a. everything was working perfectly, but after i installed the skunk2 IM and the gasket set, its been burning a lot of coolant. has anyone ever heard of the intake manifold gaskets from outlaw or hondata cracking to allow coolant from the passage in the base of the IM into the first runner?
can IAC valves break to allow coolant to get into the plenum? since the IM change the car has been idling ok sometimes, and then going back to an erratic up-down idle.
everything is installed correctly and everything was torqued correctly
help would be much appreciated
