Headgasket blown????
my car sounds almost like a WRX at idle. It overheats if sitting at idle for awhile, but my fan works and its a new radiator. just need to know what you guys think about it being the headgasket. thanks alot
what does the oil look like, is it a milky brown color?
what about the coolant, does it look alright?
is there any smoke coming from the exhaust, what color?
have you ever changed your thermostat?

Do a compression test and/or cylinder leakdown test. Both can be misleading but the 2nd one is more accurate.
Also, let the motor idle and remove the radiator cap. If you see TINY bubbles coming up then that is a pretty damn accurate indication your HG is gone. Also, pull your plugs and see if you find any white specs on them that have a tiny greenish hue on them.
