VSS problem.
Every now and then wehn im driving around, my spedo gauge will just start jumping around and going nuts.
What could be causing this... i have yet to pull out the VSS unit to inspect it for any damnage or wear. Nor have i tested it to see if its getting the right voltage reading.
Just looking for other reason's outside of those two possiblitys that could cause this problem.
I am running a Exedy CM flywheel and Organic clutch also.

Mine does the same thing, it came to the point that speedo doesn't work on cold morning for the first few minutes after startup.
I'm gonna need one soon.
Also I've heard D-series will work on B-series is that true?

It could just be a broken plug. I know thats the problem with my car. The plug is missing the little tooth that holds the plug on and when ever I go and get on my car it will sorta come loose and casue my speedo to jump. So just try going down and pushing down on it and making sure its in all the way. A temp. fix that I used was to put a zip tie over the plug and hold it down. I have yet to have any sort of problem!
