k..i'm retarded....i wanna buy something off someone from ht. what's the best way to conduct the transaction while keeping both the buyer and seller happy and feeling safe about sending money and shipping the product?

No real way of being 100% safe, make sure the seller has some good vouches from reputable members.

just buy from people like me and you will be fine

vouches dont mean crap...

and we've had more than enough people who have great vouches and are scammers, who have shipped like 2-3 months later etc...

buy locally or only use your credit card.. that way you can always take the charge back if it goes sour..

and if your using paypal.. never pay using your bank account pay using your credit card....

and never be in a rush to pay.. deals come and go daily here on H-T the deal will come by again just be patient..

I agree. There are many major sellers on h-t that
have a 10 page vouch thread that I still wouldnt buy
from. I cant say who, I always get in trouble when
I do, but the point is

take vouches for what they are worth.

Its just taking some one elses word for another person,
and you dont know either of them in most cases. I guess
its better then nothing, but in some cases they make it worse.

 

i bought a bunch of **** from elwood.

buy all your **** from him and you got nothing to worry about.
