well my dad said the same thing about being in low rpm and ive been driving my car for over 3 years so i can tell when somethin weird is going on. its NOT because I'm in low rpm. it wasnt doing this before. the weird thing is that after i installed the IM it was fine, and i drove it that way for 2 weeks. yesterday i jacked up my car, changed the shocks and installed my rear camber kit and after I lowered it down and drove it, it starts doing this crap. i did reuse my gasket which i know im not supposed to, but i couldn't drive to go get a new one. if the gasket is leakin, do you think that could cause my car to stutter when i accelerate from low rpms?

well if i start it up cold, it revs to 1.5 then drops to around 750. if its warm, i just revs to 750 and holds.

That sounds dead on. From what I understand the Skunk2 IM isn't real good for low end torque, but excellent in mid to high range.

the problem is almost like im giving it gas and its stuttering for a second, like the injectors are pulsating or something. thats the only thing i can compare it to. im not sayin thats it, but its hard to explain without actually driving it. some help would be greatly appreciated.

just a bit of info: i cracked the plastic housing around the knock sensor when removing it. the sensor inside seemed to be undamaged, but if it was damaged how would that affect performance of my vehicle? thanks guys

Have you checked your ignition system? Plugs, wires, cap and rotor? That would be the first place I would start. If you need help PM me. I live in Jax, not too far from you.

You never know what could go wrong. I once changed my oil and for some f#*king reason my timing was off. If its sputtering its either fuel or ignition.

well i figured out what the deal is. the spark plug wires are popping loose from the valve cover, just rising a tad bit off the back of the plug. i can push them down real good, drive it perfectly for a while, but they pop back up, i guess from vibrations. any idea on how to keep them stuck down?

Stick them down with some JB Weld, that stuff works for anything.

On a serious note, buy new plugs and wires. If you can afford a I/M then you should be able to get the plugs and wires. Maybe they are a little dry rot or just old and they wont stick on right. Good Luck.

well as far as i know, theyre the ones that came from the factory. havent changed em since i got the car a couple years ago, so theyre probably due for a change.

You said MSD wires adn then to suggest wires?
Do a search, I remeber seeing a post about how MSD, etc weren't any better for 99% of Hondas. OEM has a high spark capability or something like that. But I would search.
