ATTN:ALL Turbo Teg's.
I need your time on street tires!
1/8th mile or 1/4 mile.
I would rather have "bolt on kit times." But if you've got a custom job,I'd be willing to entertain those times as well.
I've got a race coming up and I'd like to know what I 'm up against.

Well since you arent getting very good replies ill help out... if the kid in the turbo GSR has either FMAX,rev, drag, or custom at 8psi hes probably running low 13.2+ in the 1/4, 8.5 + in the 1/8, and thats with a 60ft of 2.2... With Greddy its even slower..
assuming for the worst(him being fast) he could be running the 1/8 in 8.5 @ 85mph so as long as u can beat that even if he is a good driver u will still be able to beat him...

You don't sound too confident if you have to come to the board to see what you're up against.
For YOUR sake,I hope it's the first.
Anyway,Thanks for all your help guys. I just don't like surprises and I kind of wanted an idea of what to be expectiing.
It sounds like, unless it's a Turbo TypeR,I shouldn't have any real concerns. It should be pretty even race. Which is all I wanted, but I still don'tknow everything this kid has,if he has juice,I'm kickin some ***. I'm crazy,I WILL RUN 30psi if I have to.

Are you trying to ask a sincere question or are you just being an ***?

If you're as crazy as you say you are, and 30psi doesn't beat him, you can always run him off the road. haha
For real though, if you're running him with a Supra, spray or not, you should beat out the turbo GSR on street tires. Good luck.
Unless you can't drive...what good is all that power if you cant put the traction to the ground. I know supra's w/ #'s almost to the 1000's that cant break into the 9's cuz traction is so bad.

Im suprised at how biased everyone is towards the supra.. the supra is the obvious pick in the 1/4 and especially on the highway but he is racing him in the 1/8.. Ive seen BPU supras get beat by turbo GSR's at the track.. Ive seen BPU supras be beat by stock Trans Ams at the track, ive seen a stock Trans Am beat by a turbo GSR's at the track.. Ive seen BPU supras run mid 13's while ive seen a supra with the same mods run a low 12..
I think im the only one who thinks the GSR has a chance.. although I think knight will win because 1) hes auto 2)has more experience 3)the kid just put the turbo on his car and doesnt know how to drive 4) knight has the faster car but then again anything can happen

Well I found this........
The EXACT SAME race. GSR TURBO vs Auto Supra TT
http://www.c-speedracing.com/temp/cs...gotboost01.mpg
http://www.c-speedracing.com/temp/cs...gotboost02.mpg
The GSR I believe is fully built. It is G3TEG on this board.
The TT Supra is automatic with I believe just the usual bolt-ons??
So my conclusions is, unless the GSR he is going to race is fully built, the Supra will win. If the GSR is built or has some more mods, he will win.

once the supra runs low 12's, no gsr will keep up (in a 1/4 mile) on street tires........not one.
rwd always has the advantage......and so does an automatic.
