Please someone help!!! We did a Obd1 GSr swap into my 98Dx hatchback civic. We used the stock harness off of my car and combined the Gsr and civic harnesses together. The car will crank over we are having spark and getting gas. but it will not run. It threw a code14 can anybody tell me what to do or how to wire the IACV. Please help

and you may have to rewire at your ecu? not for sure

Since your original motor used a 3-wire IACV:
Did you cut off the 3-pin IACV connector and graft on the 2-pin connector from the GS-R harness?
Did you do the wire swap at the ECU connector?
What ECU are you using (using an adpater harness as well)?

In my instance I actually have not made any changes just pulled into gas station and would not start again. I was just surprised that the IACV would prevent the engine from starting. I get four codes up air sensor, TDC sensor, MAP sensor and IACV sensor. none of which I would have thought engine stopping in the short term.
I have checked the IACV and there is no battery voltage at the plug so a problem for sure but why would this stop the engine starting?

, yup you have to re wire your 3 wire Dx iacv into a 2 wire plug, then rewire the wires into the ecu also..... its another thread floating around that shows how to do it

No voltage at the IACV connector - well, if you had a Helms, you would also see that the voltage that feeds the IACV also feeds the injectors and ECU.
This voltage comes from the Main Relay as well.
