My rear lip and exhaust are not getting along

Thats the trick. You need to lower your muffler a little bit. Some company also makes this nice bumper adhesive that you should look into also.

you can get some thin sheet metal at the local hardware store and trim it to the size you need and you can either double side tape mount it or rivet it on. it isn't that expensive and i've done it before for my buddies integra. looked pretty good to. if i find pics i'll post them

you don't need heat shield..just lower your exhaust. Just put something in between your rubber hangers(piece of wood, metal etc) that would fix your problem. Besides the heat shield would just scratch your n1 muffler's tip
