Default Homeade turbo, how do you do it???

I have been interested in getting a turbo ever since I bought my car. However, they aren't going to make one for the 2001 civic, any time soon, so I was wondering... what are the main parts needed for a turbo? how exactly do you set one up? if you have to custom pipe it, how do you tune it? and are there any websites suited to answer the questions??? Any pics??? What kind of turbo would anyone recommend??? Any suggestions will do...

It's a little hard to do unless you can TIG weld or know someone that can TIG weld
