since i have a F23 would any F series engine fitt my car or will the accord and preludes only?

 

F23 is kind of a dead end engine, nobady really makes **** for it. (it sucks) Just swap it for something else. SOHC is weak, just get a H22 DOHC and drop that baby in.

 

All F series engines are Accord engines, except for the 4g Prelude S which had an F22. If you have an F series, you don't want another F series (unless it's like a very rare Accord Sir-T F20B). What you want is an H series, preferably of the DOHC VTEC flavor.

 

so any F series would fit an accord?......isnt the s2k a f20c...i dont know if this is a dumb question but would i be able to putt that in my accord

 

S2K have non-horizontally mounted motors... so no, S2Ks won't fit, but with the right amount of money, anything can fit...

 

If you got some custom engine mounting and transmission work done, you could. But it doesn't drop in 'cause it spins the wrong direction among other things.
