Default USDM d15b (searched)

We got a usdm d15b and I can't find the specs for it anywhere. What numbers (compression, power) would we be looking at if we put a d16z6 head on it with y8 headgasket?

Same as stock. JDM D15B and D16Z6 have the same head cast, and the Z6 and Y8 head gaskets are the same thickness...i'm assuming the jdm d15b has the same head gasket as the Z6.

it's not jdm though it's USDM, we just pulled it from another car (it was dx sedan, but it's not original engine since the car was in the major accident). It comes with non vtec head.

And I thought that y8 headgasket is thiner then z6, I know I read it a bunch of times

I don't remember what's the number on the pistons, I forgot.

Under 120 at the wheels, until you do some bolt on parts.

And, y8 and z6 headgaskets are now the same part number. z6 is now the thinner y8.

Those are not bad numbers so technically it should put out more then z6.

No.

It's the same thing with a little less displacement, and a hair better rod/stroke ratio.

Damn, that sucks. I hoped it would make more power then z6, because then we would have a use for it, oh well having a spare engine doesn't hurt.
