z6 VS. y7 tranny gearing?

Is there that much of a difference between z6 (92-95 EX) and y7 (96-00 DX) transmission gearing?

yes there is, going from the dx tranny to ex tranny with take almost 2 seconds off your 1/4 times.

2 seconds?? cant find a z6 tranny so im putting a y7 in it...any other opinions?
