im going to be using a turbonetics t3/t4 turbo and want to know what would be the best piping for this setup. im considering doing 2.25 from the turbo to the int and 2.5 from the int to the tb." im think the bigger the piping the slower the pick up but better high end" or do i got it backwards???

 

also what size intercooler do you suggest.im think around 24/10/3 some were around there. i dont want to go to big on my setup considering i only got a sohc.

 

it all depends: what are your final horsepower goals and how many psi are you planning on running to get there?

 

I think 2.5 is a bit big for a d16 unless you're going to use a built motor and run obscene ammounts of boost. I think 2.25 all around is good or 2.25 from tb to i/c and then 2 from i/c to turbo.

 

so i guess i just go with the 2.25 and 2". downpipe and charge line is all i need to complete my turbo. hopefully i get the stuff soon becuz i just got beat by a eg hatch crucially

 

On my b16 im using 2" from turbo to IC then 2.25-2.5 IC to TB. No complaints.
