Check your box for leaves! I opened up the box last night and pulled two big *** leaves off the filter. I'm sure that that could effect performance.

Ok then, I guess I'll take no chance for autumn scenery winding on mountain roads.

Check the stock air box! I checked mine last night and found 2 parts of leaves left at the bottom.

haha, you guys are funny...of course it sucks up leaves....just check it when you check your oil, and take the stuff out, that's why the filter is there. Plenty of air still gets by, i had a tube running to my stock airbox with a K&N on my GS-R, it had sucked up a dunkin donuts wax-paper wrapper and 1/2 of the filter was blocked, ...didn't seem to make much difference, a few leaves = negligable effect(it also sucked up a cigarette from a car in front of me that was thrown, i saw it hit that area of the car and sure enough it was up in there, a number of leaves, and at least 1/10th of the insect population between pittsburgh and DC) . Still better than your stock filter, probably...at least you know it's working! AEMs get chit on them (or fall off) all the time, much easier to check icebox filter.
