I recently got my EG6 gauge cluster back from a buddy of mine. I lent it to him to use for tuning purposes since his DX cluster doesnt have a tach on it. well, it worked in my car perfectly fine prior to letting him borrow it, and it worked fine in his car while he was using it. So, this morning i go to reinstall it in my car only to find that nothing works on it what so ever. the turn signals dont light up when active, neither do the hazards. The speedo worked for like a mintue and after that the cluster just fell on its face. Can anyone help me trouble shoot this problem? Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

you did not plug the plugs all the way in.....

recheck....will bet money they came unplugged

 

i'll check that...but if its not that which im kinda of doubting, what else could i check over? being frustrated in this heat isnt helping my problem..hahaha, so if anyone else might have any other suggestions, id really appreciate it. thanks.

My bet is loose plug or a bent pin.

 

i feel like a "tard"....after checking over everything many times over i took your advice to check the pins and they were tarnished to hell...after cleaning them up, the cluster is 100%..thanks again guys.
