ls/vtec

i have a 89 ek with 2000 ls in it and im tossin a sir head on it.. when i replace the headgasket is it a ls one or a sir one?? also some ppl are sayin to use a gsr oil pump is this true..

sorry i ment a 98 ek.. can what headgasket?? i know u can use the gsr iol pump but do u really have tO?
