Default Squeaky Cat

I just installed a catback exhaust, and when I was under there, everytime i moved the exhaust on its hangers, it would squeak, a lot. I am pretty sure the sound is from the springs/bolts at the front of the cat, right after the header. Anyone else have this happen to them? Any ideas on how to get rid of this annoying noise? it squeaks while driving, and i hate it.

my exhaust squeaked like a ****** for a few days. Every bump i hit... it made my car sound like a pile of turds. But that was only because my DP didnt line up well with the rest of my exhaust. i had the dp moddified so its gone now.

hm, wouldnt' the wd40 or any other kind of lubricant just burn off?

and my downpipe lines up perfectly with the cat, and the b pipe lines up perfectly as well. my set up is a gsr motor with a dc 4-1 header, obd2 gsr stock cat, small extension because of the b series swap, and tanabe hyper cat back. I just installed the catback, but it squeaked before i did that. while the exhaust was loose i pinpointed it to those cat bolts/springs..

any other thoughts/opinions about this? thanks guys.

Make sure you use a ''High temp'' grease.
