Well I don't have an Accord but my friend has a 2000 Accord lx. We ended up buying a new Pioneer deck to replace the stock car deck. When we installed the new deck with the new harness the deck would not work at all. We tried to see if the new harness was bad, so we took it off and put back the stock deck with the stock harness. Stock car deck does not work, and will no longer work. Fuses were checked on the driver side area, and engine area. All other devices work, such as ac and clock. No wires are loose, because we unplugged and redid everything several times, and triple checked our work.
Anyone encountered this problem? My friend is all sad cuz he can't use his new deck and car speakers. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Did you check the wires which connect the deck and the speakers?? If just one of the wires is grounded, the stereo will not play anything.
