it's a lightweight car that handles well and is FR from factory. maybe a bit dated, but i wouldnt say it's a crappy car.

wasting good motor in a crappy car ? ? ?
lets just say he couldnt find a Toyota Atlantic 1.6L 240hp motor and just had to settle for an S2000 motor
