Default Going Junkyarding, need some help.

Ok, here's the deal... I've got a 97 HX manual and looking for a Y8 tranny off an EX. I was just wanting to know if I just need the tranny itself or will I need the shift fork, etc. Really I'm just wondering if the equipment on my car will work so I wouldn't have to get anything but the tranny off an EX. Thanks for your help

You need the entire tranny.

from the outside, the only different will be the plate with the name designation. Will bolt up perfectly. Starter, slave cylinder, throwout bearing, etc are all the same.

Thanks, that's exactly what I was wondering about.
