Making/Welding Up a Block Girdle For an H22?
Do you think it would be possible to make a block girdle for an H22/H23?
I know mustangs have the aftermarket girdles that are steel, so I was wondering if it would be possible to weld one up for a Honda using steel piping and barstock?
IMO, from what I've seen, it looks like it wouldn't be too hard.
Comments?

I am a cheap bastard. I will save money any way I can, especially if it means I have to make it.
I don't believe that GE or Z10 make them for H22's. I am considering picking up a spare H23 block that does not include the girdle. I was lookin for one a while back, and they are very hard to come by. I know how they work, and they don't look too complex, so if I could spend $20 in materials to make one, then that's what I would like to do.
