this ain't in general which bumper looks better by itself. it's what bumper looks good ON my car. chill out and don't even involve yourself with the thread if it bothers you that much. damn.

thats the general idea of one way how to do it. I know a guy around here with a svt contour and he chopped his bumper and a older cobra bumper inhalf, used the top half of his stock one and the bottom of the cobra one, then fiberglassed them together. I couldnt even tell until after someone told me.

christ, havent we gone over this before.
first of all. both bumpers look wrong on that older eg hatch.
and second of all. i vote for 96-98, just because thats what i have.
third, i like 99-00 because of the fog lights fittings. but im happy with my 96-98.
