EP3s in 2-5 years?
Hmm. There seems to be a little cult following, but that doesn't change the fact that it's just a very unpopular car w/the general public...so far.
I don't think they're going to hold their value well.

i just bought a 2002 si with 30k on it for $10,000. I think it was a really good deal, but they arent holding value very well at all, and because of their unpopularity, are sort of rare, maybe that will help them in the long run. Most people trying to sell them are trying to get more than they are worth, because they still have huge loans, but if you look hard and hold out for a few months, you come across great deals. I think its the Perfect used car to buy right now.
damn honda's arent holding their values like they used to, thank god i'm never gonna sell my car, unless i'm in some financial trouble b/c id lose a **** load of money...

The EP3 is a special case. They're listing them for too much money, and they are not selling well.
You also have weird cases where a borrower will take out $20,000 on a car for which he's only paying $16,000. This is allowed by most institutions because of the car's high sticker, but it will leave a young buyer much further in debt than he ought to be for this kind of car.

Good
. I was thinking about the same as you guys about their values dropping. Im glad they will be because maybe a few years down the line once I work more than just the weekends I can buy a hatch. I would want a 92-95 or 96-00 but by the time I begin looking for one they will so rare.

if the rumors that production will be cut on the ep3 are true i think that eventually thell all find homes and will be hard to come by. besides look at the ek si(hard to find for sale)
i think the next gen. Si is supposed to be a coupe...depending on how that car is accepted, either the Si will become sought after, or forgotten.
really no way to tell right now, IMO.

i'd agree but i thought it should have been a hatch like every other si

yeah i heard they stopped productions as of end of march for the 04's cuzz they weren't selling as well which makes the car rare now considering they didn't make many 04's as well but 05 is supposly a coupe realeasing in either begining of december or end of it somewhere around there...=O/ IMO i believe if they had brought the CTR it would have been more profit made by honda then an SI
