ECU code 20&23 on jdm b16 92 RS
Car:
1992 Integra RS
JDM b16 SirII
i'm throwing the codes for electronic load detector (20) and knock sensor (23). The car runs fine but takes a few clicks to start up (big chance the starter is going bad). It'll start throwing the code once 5-10 minutes into driving.
Any help is appreciated. tia

ELD is not on USDM 2nd gens, I have the same code on my b16 '92 gsr. I just burned a stock b16 chip onto the OBD1 PR3 i'm using and took away the ELD using uberdata.
23 is knock sensor, reset the ECU and make sure the MAP and O2 sensors are working...AFR might be all wack and causing lean spots, which would cause the knock sensor to flash. Mine threw 23 also but after taking out the battery a couple times (resetting ECU) i havnt seen it again...although I also havnt driven the damn thing since then also.

The ELD is an integrated part of the car I believe...the relay and fuse is located in the under-dash fuse panel, which USDM 2nd gens DO NOT have, so unless you swap over a 3g under-dash panel and add the wireing for the ELD, you will not have it.
The expensive way to fix this would be either do the above, or get a USDM 2nd gen GSR ECU and use it, as it does not look for the ELD.
OR
You can remove the ELD check via Uberdata or a similar program by chipping the ECU. This is what I did, and while I was at it I added 2% timing and fuel just for *****. In June I get some more chips and I can burn a similar program on a chip and you can have someone install it, or send me your ECU and I'll chip it for you. Or you can do this via someone who has access to an eprom burner...I know Kenji chips ECU's here on H-T, as well as a few others.
