Question about AGX rear bumpstops.....96 hatchback...
I've had my AGX's on my car for a couple of weeks and I am noticing that the rear of my car seems a little more bouncy than the front. I'm not sure if this is due to the lower springrates in the rear or what (I have the off-the-shelf Ground Controls). Also, another question of mine concerns the rear bumpstops....do the rear shocks come with them? Mine came with these black things that look like bumpstops, but they don't go down on the shock shaft like the fronts. They rest on top of a 'bubble' portion near the top of the shaft and the dustcovers rest on top of them. I didn't put the factory bumpstops on because they would not clear that 'bubble'. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I'm just trying to make sure I have bumpstops correctly installed in the rear. Oh, and the car is not low at all right now. Maybe an inch and a half all around. So my main questions are about the bumpstops and why the rear seems a little bouncier. Thanks guys.
It's the rear spring rates. I had this setup, swapped the rears with gr-2s, problem solved. Its all in the weight distibution in your car....
