Default Adjusting a Hydro clutch

I know this topic been covered alot of times...i read most of them but still i'm having a hard time adjusting my clutch...i tried to adjust it from the bottom of the pedal..but as i drive it...it goes bak to the same catch point. any other way?

You mean hydro tranny, right?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only adjustment there is, is the actual position of the pedal. The engagement point will never change with a hydro tranny.

What you are doing is changing the freeplay before the rod actually moves the piston in the cylinder. If the rod engages earlier, then the arm will have more throw at the transmission. You just have to watch that you always have free play at the M/C rod or the clutch will malfunction because the self-adjusting feature (the port going to the reservoir) will be disabled. The port only opens when the m/c piston is all the way back.
